My Honest Experience Playing Eggy Car: The Most Stressful “Chill” Game Ever

I didn’t expect much the first time I opened Eggy Car. It looked simple. Cute, even. A tiny car. A fragile egg. Some rolling hills.

“How hard could it be?” I thought.

About 45 seconds later, I was staring at a cracked egg on my screen, questioning my life choices.

This blog post is basically me confessing how a tiny casual game managed to stress me out, make me laugh, and keep me playing way longer than I planned. If you enjoy simple browser games that somehow mess with your emotions, you’ll understand exactly what I mean.

First Impressions: Simple, But Suspiciously So

The concept of Eggy Car is beautifully straightforward:

You drive a small car across bumpy hills while balancing a giant egg on top. That’s it. No enemies. No weapons. No complicated controls. Just gas, brake, gravity… and your rapidly rising anxiety.

As someone who’s played plenty of casual games, I’ve learned that “simple” often hides “brutally difficult.” This one is no exception.

The controls are easy to understand — press right to accelerate, left to slow down or reverse. But the physics? Oh, the physics.

The moment you hit your first steep hill, you realize this isn’t about speed. It’s about patience. And restraint. Two things I apparently lack.
