Doodle Baseball: The Tiny Browser Game That’s Harder to Quit Than You Expect
yesterday by Melissa Kelly
Sometimes the most memorable games aren’t the ones with huge budgets or complicated systems.
Sometimes it’s just a hot dog with a baseball bat.
That was my exact thought the first time I saw doodle baseball. I opened the game expecting something quick and silly — a couple of swings, maybe a small laugh, and then I’d move on.
But a funny thing happened after the first round.
I missed the pitch.
Then I missed another one.
And suddenly I wanted redemption.
That’s how this tiny browser game quietly turns a few seconds of curiosity into ten minutes of “just one more try.”
